Supporting All Veterans And Their Families
2015 started out with extremely cold temperatures and some much need moisture in the form of snow. Many of our members suffered from the dreaded flu, myself included. Which leads me to believe the weather and illness was the cause of a decline in attendance at our January and February Friday night dinner/dances. Hopefully our members are now in good health and with nicer weather in the forecast, attendance will pick up.
I hope all our members are coping with this crazy weather, one day it’s like spring and the next it’s winter again. I love the warm days and yet I do enjoy watching the beautiful falling snow. We are indeed fortunate to have a roof over our heads and food to eat. There are many who do not share our good fortune…. even some of our veterans. I appeal to your generosity. We need your help with time and money. Becoming a member of our Auxiliary and helping out wherever you could would be so very much appreciated.
The Men’s Auxiliary welcomes its newest member, James Zapinski, an Army veteran, who is anxious to take an active part in our organization. A big thank you to LeRoy Jensen for recruiting James.
